The Path I Travel
What do Prince, Madonna, Gladys Knight, Tina Turner, Cat Stevens, Seals and Croft, Pete Seger, Bono, Dave Matthews, Ani Difranco, and Tracy Chapman all have in common? Besides being masterful musicians and performers, they are all famous adherents to spiritual/philosophical paths that have changed and improved their lives.
Our first campaign, called “The Path I Travel”, includes:
1) A compilation CD by various famous artists representing various spiritual paths, along with a message from them on why the follow they path they do and what they believe this path offers the world,
2) A DVD featuring high level leaders from many of the world’s religions, extolling the virtues of peace, tolerance, and the importance of the human family learning to work together, and
3) An inspiring book with over 50 famous people from all walks of life talking about the path they travel, how following it has changed their life, and one beautiful thing about this path.
The product will be distributed in cooperation with retailers such as Barnes and Noble, Borders, Starbucks, Whole Foods, and a network of independent music and bookstores.
Proceeds will benefit organizations that promote tolerance, diversity and harmony. Our digital network serves as a gathering point for people working to solve these problems and informs of follow up events, so that the power of the campaign extends far beyond distributing the product.
